Overwhelming But Not Impossible
Sanctification is the process of being made Holy, set apart for God, and developing spiritual maturity. Just like the Holy Trinity: made up of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, sanctification cannot be capped off and easily understood. It’s a journey that starts and ends with Jesus. Just like the mystery of God’s transformative work in our lives, like the miracle of the splitting of the Red Sea, and inexplainable reality of the Holy Trinity, sanctification is a continuous journey and a yes to a relationship that may be unexpected and unexplainable to the human. Ultimately, this journey brings Glory to God and his awesome magnitude.

Sanctification is a Work of Art that Only God Can Create
As Christians we strive to be God-like, however we all fall short every day (Romans 3:23). We all know the saying of “God knows your heart”, which is true! But be mindful that we are supposed to be continually growing. Leave the hard parts up to Him by staying in prayer and being armored up in His word, following His lead, and choosing Him daily. Doing these things, we will shed off our old selves and God will transform us into bright beacons of light. Sanctification can be overwhelming because we often imagine God with our limited knowledge and as he calls us to His higher standard of sanctification, it can seem hard to live up to. As we strive to hold ourselves accountable remember to be gracious with yourself and know He is the potter and we are His clay (Jeremiah 18: 1-6).
